About Shen-Vey
I am currently an undergraduate student at Yale majoring in Cognitive Science and Theatre Studies. I've been teaching/tutoring English for most of my life. During my years as a secondary school student, I acted as a peer mentor for students who need help with their English speaking/writing skills. Most recently, I also worked for a tutoring company that provides English lessons for young working professionals in Korea.

I have taught students from a very wide range of backgrounds. Regardless of your fluency or confidence in speaking the language, my lessons are always open to you. The way I structure my lessons are flexible depending on what my student is comfortable with (usually, it might look something like "Introduction --> Learning/Discussion --> Feedback for student and for tutor --> Advice"). Based on my years of experience, I've been told that I tend to be firm with my approach, but am also very patient.
