With a strong record in my ELA test scores over my past three years in high school, I can say with complete confidence that I take English very seriously -- Mastery in English is a gateway to mastery in every other subject imaginable. My approach to teaching has always been to first understand where my student struggles, and then build a comfortable curriculum for them that we can work on together at their pace. I've learned over my years assisting children that when they know they are seen and that they are as capable as others around them, they grow more comfortable with their learning environment, which in turn develops strong-minded and confident students who can develop proficiency in any subject.
