Mr Mothersole was our house master and as house master was a mentor and role model for us all. Mr Mothersole taught us all respect for our elders and each other, as well the importance of discipline and how to look after ourselves.
At weekends the boarding school were taken to the cathedral for Sunday mass where we all had introduction to Anglican Christianity which has been a very positive impact in my life ever since.

Peter taught me Religious Studies during my secondary school years, including through my GCSE's, and he was not only an extremely good educator in every respect, but he was also incredibly friendly and approachable, and is someone I would consider an inspiration and played a key part in who I went on to become. I would strongly recommend Peter to anyone considering tutoring from him.

Peter is a highly experienced teacher, well used to getting the best out of students of all abilities. He is passionate about his subject and about teaching, and his enthusiasm helps to motivate students and raise their ambitions. He is also a caring person and full of integrity. Mr Mothersole taught me religious studies for over 3 years and I have never had a teacher like him. Throughout these 3 years I got the privilege of experiencing this teachers style and witnessing their dedication to my successes. Mr Mothersole possesses a remarkable ability to engage all students into his classes and inspire every individual.

Their passion for religious philosophy is evident in all lessons he teaches. The positive and inclusive learning environment he creates encourages every student to voice their thoughts and opinions in a safe environment where the ideas are not judged but built upon. My favourite parts of Mr Mothersoles lessons was his fostering of open discussions which were really helpful to gain a full picture of the subject at hand. This again encouraged students to voice their opinions and thoughts.

An aspect of Mr Mothersoles personality as a teacher is his unwavering commitment to his students growth and development. I had only little previous knowledge of religious studies before starting Mr Mothersoles classes and I even resented the subject. After only one class with him I was fully invested in learning more and my whole mindset has changed regarding the subject, I have become a more open individual and now think more deeply about day to day life.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Mothersole as an exceptional educator who goes above and beyond to inspire his students. Amazing teacher and had the pleasure of attending Ski trips away with him, I have always found him to be dependable, honest and reliable.

Mr Mothersole will forever stand out in my mind as a great teacher and also an excellent role model. Always kind, caring and had time to listen to your thoughts and problems.
