About Matt
My name is Matt and I am a New Zealand trained teacher of History and Geography. I am incredibly passionate and energetic about my subjects and absolutely love seeing students achieve their goals within the classroom.
I have taught all levels of High School History and Geography in New Zealand. I am currently on my working holiday and am employed by Achieving for Children in Kingston upon Thames. I am working one on one with students who are out of formal education.

New Zealand trained and currently UK based History and Geography teacher looking to tutor students for GCSE or A Level History and/ or Geography.
Bachelor of Arts (Double major in History and Geography).
Master of Teaching and Learning
7 years classroom experience in New Zealand ( 4 years as a Head of Department for Social Sciences). On leave from an Assistant Principal position in New Zealand.
Currently employed by Achieving for Children as an SEN Tutor whilst on my working holiday.
I absolutely love History and Geography and enjoy working with students to achieve to their potential, my sessions are non threatening, fun and are full of useful tips and tricks to ensure success.
