Isaac was a faculty member at our independent study Charter School for five years where he taught science to both elementary and secondary students. He was passionate about teaching science especially the life sciences and photovoltaics. During the pandemic he created an engaging block on Thermodynamics which became a foundation for future lessons. Isaac has a pleasant personality which is reassuring for students and colleagues. His tutees expressed that they looked forward to their work time with him and conversely he reported that tutoring was highlight of his week.

Isaac is a passionate and experienced science teacher. He has taught at many different schools throughout California during his career, bringing his spark of natural curiosity to each classroom. His students are inspired by his genuine love of all things science, his thirst for knowledge and his perseverance when taking on projects and new challenges. He works hands-on with students and coworkers, giving all his energy to each situation. From building projects with students for science fairs, to tutoring struggling students, to working on never-ending science experiences with his nephew, his passion for learning and sharing his knowledge are obvious to all.
