About Kimberly
I'm a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University. I completed a BA in Human Geography and a Certificate in Urban Studies. When I first started university I found the transition from highchool to be very difficult as I adapted to new writing, researching, and citation styles. This change can be really stressful and I want to make that process as easy as possible for you!

I can teach valuable research and writing skills at the undergraduate level. This will help you prepare and succeed as you begin university. The change from highschool to upper education can be daunting and challenging so let me help!
My lessons are designed to teach you what credible sources are, where to find them, and how to use them effectively in your papers. This can include reviewing old papers you've written, creating outlines for new assignments, reviewing drafts, and reviewing your teacher's and TA's comments to help you understand how to implement their feedback.
For universiry students: I can help you edit and find sources for your current papers and assignments. Writing a term paper can be daunting so I can help create a research plan and paper outline to help you manage your workload. I can also help you with understanding concepts in geography, urban studies, and planning.
For highschool students: I can teach you writing and research skills at the university level. This will help elevate your writing so you can succeed at university from the start! I can also help you with your current writing and work in your classes.
Our first meeting will help identify your needs and how I can help. My teaching style is based around helping you with your current tasks while improving your skills in the long term. I can help you identify your needs but ultimately its up to you to ask for help where you need it!
