About Aaron
I am a motivated Drum tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching college students who want to improve rhythm, timing, and musical confidence. My aim is to help students grow steadily while enjoying the learning journey. My teaching style is creative, clear, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand the basics strongly before moving to advanced concepts.
I encourage critical thinking so students know why a rhythm works, not just how to play it. I use innovative teaching methods such as groove-building drills, tempo control exercises, and coordination training. I also include song-based practice and play-along sessions to help students apply skills in real music.
Accountability is an important part of my lessons. I help students set realistic goals and follow consistent practice routines. Regular feedback keeps students focused and motivated. As a critical thinker and mentor, I explain rhythm concepts in a simple and clear way. Timing, coordination, and technique are taught step by step. Students are guided to think independently and improve their musical understanding.
