About Beatriz
My methodology is communicative. In other words, I try to speak in English with my student most of the time. However, I adapt to the student's rhythm, so, if necessary, I also explain in Portuguese. Because I believe that the most important thing is for the student to understand the concepts well and not have doubts. I always encourage you to speak in English constantly and to develop the ability to think in English. That is, I try to make the grammar uncomplicated so that the student can autonomously understand the language by herself. Therefore, I present you with tools and techniques to assist in this process. For my regular private students I use a Oxford textbook as a base. I complement the content of the book with slides, videos and exercises. However, if the student has a specific need, such as preparing for a trip, I can develop specific material for him / her.

Hello / Hello I have been teaching English for over four years. I've worked at CNA and currently work at Wizard. I also teach private lessons in person in São Paulo or online for other regions. I started studying the English language at the age of twelve, at Cultura Inglesa, and I never stopped. After finishing this course, I obtained the CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) from the University of Cambridge, England. In addition to this theoretical training, I improved my knowledge in my professional challenges. I have worked as an English-Portuguese interpreter, bilingual secretary and foreign trade analyst. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in International Relations. I always try to take the knowledge that this course brought me to my classes. That is why they are full of cultural information about English-speaking countries, especially the United States, Canada and England.
