About EDER
My name is Eder and I am a Grade 12 International Baccalaureate student. I study the most advanced level of Mathematics at my school and I have received a prestigious mathematical training while I was studying the first 3 years of Hgh School.
I have given private lessons since I was 14 years old and I have been a volunteer in a non-profit organization whose objective was Social Integration through School Support and the Arts. I am also a Red Cross volunteer and I am, together with another colleagues, in charge of a project called "Success"; which is mainly based on school support to achieve academic success.
Those who know me describe me as a responsible, kind, empathetic and patient person. My classmates value my predisposition to help them with their doubts and they usually understand my explanations without any problem. My former students also value my ability to adapt to the person I'm teaching. In general, everyone around me says that I could be a teacher and, if until now you have not been able to find a teacher who has managed not only to teach you, but also transmit you the love of learning, you do not need to look any further!

Do you have a hard time understanding the formulas of your Math lessons? Stuck on a problem and unable to see the error? Do you get desperate every time you try to do a math exercise? If at least one of your answers to these questions is "Yes", then I can help you.
My name is Eder and I am a Grade 12 International Baccalaureate student. I have been giving private Math lessons to Primary and Secondary School students since I was in Grade 8.
I have participated in a very exclusive program to enhance mathematical thinking. Thanks to it, I was able to understand the most complex formulas without having to look at examples. I apply my skills and knowledge in each of my lessons. I create real-life situations to explain algebra to you, I use visual examples to prove trigonometric concepts, and most of all, I promote active learning.
In my lessons, the students talk as much as I do. I try to make t them ink actively and make connections between different concepts so that, in the exam, they don't have to worry about memorizing the formula and trying their luck in which exercise to use it.
With my lessons, not only will you be able to learn the concepts that cost you in Mathematics, but you will also learn to extract information from texts and interpret formulas.
My lessons are informal. Don't expect a serious teacher who gets desperate because you don't understand something even if they have already repeated it to you 3 times in a row or who sends you do 20 exercises so that you learn something. With me, you will most likely see me correcting myself when I speak and making funny and somewhat silly comparisons to explain the most difficult concepts. Even so, in Mathematics it is necessary to practice to learn. In my lessons you will have to do exercises, I'm sorry. I will guide you in the first ones and then I will leave you absolute freedom to apply the contents that we have covered in the session. However, I will spend as much time as it takes you to understand why you do what you do in any given exercise.
My ultimate goal is much more than you learning Mathematics, it is making you enjoy the learning process. I can joke about certain topics, I explain the theory in a colloquial way and with absurd comparisons to make the lessons more bearable. At the end of the day, we both pursue the same goal: that you can pass the exams and that you don't have a harsh time studying.
