About Samuel

Hi, I`m a 24-year-old Digital Marketing student studying at Surrey. At Foundation, I studied Maths, Business, and Economics - getting an A* in each subject. Through my schooling and also outside of the classroom I`ve been able to gain a great amount of marketing experience so I`d also be willing to help with any business social media platform.

Growing up in a diverse state school I`ve been able to observe the different approaches people have to learn but also can appreciate that each student learns differently. By teaching younger students and also fellow classmates I`ve learned how to adapt the way I teach to suit each student. A key aspect of learning is being able to stay engaged while learning and it can be quite difficult to do in a classroom where a student may not enjoy the teaching style. As a tutor, I`m willing to adapt to a student`s way of thinking and provide the best teaching experience I can. I was in a similar position not so long ago, and seeing a student progressively improve is something that always puts a smile on my face.

About the lesson

• Targeted, efficient, bespoke, and relaxed.
• I teach lessons that are truly tailor made to my student. The way I teach will be informed by them and their ability, the way I structure my questions, the way I might even ask the questions, are all driven by that ability.
• Exam rubric (what the exam boards want to see and how they want to see it) will feature heavily and weaknesses will be consolidated over time.
