About Bethany
Having had a book under my nose from the moment I could read, I'm someone who loves English Literature and writing. I'm now a news reporter and feature journalist, so writing accurately and creatively is literally my job.
When I was at school studying English Literature (and later, Politics at University), I struggled to figure out how to write to get the grades. I had to learn the formulas and study the grade guides to know exactly what my teachers wanted. Now, by using the skills I learned and use every day, I work to make sure that children can too find their love of writing and English Literature.

Sometimes it's a bit tricky to figure out just how to write those long essays that will get you good grades. With so many ideas, how do you structure them? Maybe you're just not getting those creative ideas? Or maybe you just don't get those poems that you're reading, and analysing them isn't coming naturally to you.
We can work on all of these together in creative and relaxed ways. I'm not a teacher, I'm someone who genuinely loves writing and English Literature, and I can give you all the skills you need to jump those hurdles and get great grades.
We'll work together for roughly 2 hours, but we can adapt that if you need more or less time.
