I like to ensure that I get to know exactly what the student wants to get out of our sessions and establish any long term or short term goals. This makes sure that we have a gauge on progress and we know whether or not we are getting anywhere. This method of teaching also helps the student stay motivated. I do not use methods that do not work for a student because I believe in individualized learning methods.
