About Kamrynn
Hi, I’m Kamrynn — a full-time engineer with a strong academic background in math, science, and writing. I’ve always enjoyed breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, and I use that same mindset when helping students. I studied mechanical engineering and have experience with subjects like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, and technical writing. I also help students with essay editing, resume preparation, and college applications. Whether you’re working through high school coursework, preparing for standardized tests, or just need a fresh explanation, I can support you with patience and clarity. I’m not a traditional teacher, but I’ve been in your shoes. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, and I know how helpful it can be to have someone walk through things with you, without judgment. My approach is relaxed, practical, and focused on helping you feel more confident and in control of your learning. I work Monday through Thursday, so I’m available most evenings and flexible weekends. From there, we’ll tackle problems together, identify patterns, and build strategies you can apply on your own. If you’re prepping for a test, we’ll go over practice problems and strengthen any weak areas. If you’re writing an essay, I’ll help you improve structure, clarity, and flow while keeping your voice intact. I aim to make lessons feel low-pressure and productive — more like a conversation than a lecture. You’re free to ask questions, slow down, or revisit concepts as many times as you need. I’ll also share tips on how to study smarter, stay organized, and manage stress when learning tough subjects. My goal is to help you feel confident, prepared, and in control of your learning — whether we’re working on algebra, chemistry, or a college application essay.
