About Madelyn
Nice to meet you! I have a B.A. in English and history from Providence College, and am currently pursuing my Master's at Tufts in Child Study and Human Development. I also have a TESL certification, so I'm happy to help English learners at all levels!
While I specialize in English (reading, writing, literacy, etc.), I am also able to tutor in elementary math and science, American history, and SAT prep (1450 score!).
A fun fact about me: I have costume designed 3 musicals! I love all things theater :)

I am excited to work with you on all things English! I have 2+ years of experience as a writing tutor, and can help with everything from essays to stories. I am flexible in teaching styles and am happy to meet you where you're at to make the lesson work for you! Typically, I like to have open conversations about the assignment/topic, make a structured plan, and work together to proofread the finished product. I'm happy to work with people of all ages and of all abilities. I also speak Spanish at an intermediate level, so I am capable of working with English Language Learners!
