About Sarah
I’m a certified teacher pre-K-6 in the state of Virginia. I have taught kindergarten for multiple years. To have taught many students to read and I feel strongly that a base in phonics is important to a successful reader.
I also majored in creative writing and gave a background in creative writing including teaching creative writing to early elementary students.

I like to have hands onfun and engaging lessons. I like to lean into what the student enjoys and help make learning fun s students not only enjoy learning but excel. I also look for areas that the student is struggling so I can circle back and re-teach so that they have a strong base.
