I have always enjoyed English Literature. Words hold incredible power and I find it fascinating to explore why and how writers use certain words, structures and techniques.
I believe strongly that revision and learning does not have to be boring. I take my lessons seriously but I ensure my explanations and tasks are fun and easy to understand.

I received grades 8 in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE. Amongst my other subjects, I received a grade A in A-Level English Literature. I have an Undergraduate degree in Law from the University of York, and am currently undertaking a Masters degree with the University of Law to sit the SQE exams.
I have previously worked as an English Literature and English Language tutor. My lessons are typically 45 minutes long, and are tailored to the student’s needs, their academic goals, and the specific texts they are studying.
In my previous role as a tutor, I received positive feedback from my students that my lessons were engaging, fun, and helpful. My lessons can also cover exam technique and preparation.
