About Anthony
I am a trainee solicitor at an international law firm, currently working in the Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers department. I read Anthropology at UCL before completing law school, and I have professional experience working as a Korean interpreter (for entertainment corporations, government bodies and private companies), and have seven years experience as a private tutor.
Although I am working, I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and therefore am returning to teaching as a limited part-time venture, as I would like to continue to provide my knowledge to help those with school/applications/work!
Outside of work, I'm a big fan of jazz and film, and am most definitely a dog person. Please feel free to reach out and ask any questions!

As a private tutor of seven years teaching Maths, English and Korean, I have considerable experience working with students of varying ages and experiences.
My lessons for English revolve around different focal points:
GCSE/A-Level - At this level, my teaching philosophy is that all that is required is an interest in the subject, and awareness of exam techniques. Therefore lessons consist of student-tailored activities that revolve around exam-standard work without being repetitive or mundane.
CV/Applications - At this level, I focus on working with students to provide direct knowledge on writing styles and written corporate communication mechanisms to improve application quality. This is largely based on my experience of submitted successful graduate applications in Law, Banking and Consulting fields.
Interview preparation - This largely follows the above, but focusses more on speech style and persuasive oral communication techniques to help students with interviews or pitches.
These lessons are designed for students aged 16-30+ experienced professionals, and lesson times are often between 1-2 hours.
