About Rachel
With 6 years of experience teaching Chemistry, I help learners from K–12 to first-year college overcome difficult concepts and achieve their academic objectives. I believe every student learns differently, so I personalize my teaching methods according to individual strengths, challenges, and learning preferences. My lessons cover essential areas including periodic trends, molecular structures, chemical reactions, mole calculations, solutions, equilibrium, acids and bases, energetics, and introductory organic Chemistry. I explain each topic in a logical and approachable way, followed by examples and practice activities that reinforce understanding. Rather than encouraging students to memorize formulas blindly, I help them discover the reasoning behind each concept and develop effective problem-solving habits. I can provide support for regular coursework, homework, assignments, revision, tests, and exam preparation. My sessions are friendly, focused, and interactive, giving students plenty of opportunities to clarify doubts and practice independently. I aim to create a positive learning experience where students become more accurate, confident, and capable of handling Chemistry questions on their own.

I offer personalized chemistry tutoring for learners ranging from K–12 to first-year college. My lessons are structured around your current knowledge, academic targets, and preferred learning style. Chemistry becomes much easier when concepts are explained logically, so I break challenging material into manageable steps and connect theory with familiar examples. Depending on your needs, lessons may include chemical reactions, molecular structures, periodic trends, mole calculations, solutions, equilibrium, acids and bases, energetics, and introductory organic chemistry. I use a combination of explanation, questioning, practice exercises, and problem-solving activities to keep sessions productive and engaging. Students receive guidance throughout the process while gradually becoming more independent in their approach. I can assist with schoolwork, assignments, revision, test preparation, or specific topics that feel difficult. Instead of simply providing answers, I encourage students to understand how and why each solution works. This helps develop stronger reasoning and long-term retention. My goal is to create focused lessons that improve academic performance while making chemistry feel more approachable, organized, and rewarding.
