About Grayson

In the first session, we'll establish your language level and your specific goals, whether personal, professional, or academic. We'll work with videos, texts, activities, and exercises, with a focus on conversational skills and expression, along with verbal and written comprehension.

Classes can be individual or in a group, with the option of in-person sessions in my home or another location, or even online through Skype.

About the lesson

Hello, I'm Grayson, born and raised in the US. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Anthropology from the University of Washington in Seattle. I've been an English teacher at CNA in a small town in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, a Portuguese interpreter registered with the state of Oregon, USA, and one of the translators for the English version of the website for Fraternity without Borders, a humanitarian organization based in 6 different countries. I was also a member of a team working on the improvement of voice recognition software for American English at Welocalize, one of the largest international companies in translation and localization services.
