About Mia

Greetings to you all. My name is Mia, I have been cooking since the age of 7, where I watched my mother and helped cook and bake the most delicious food originating from the Caribbean. My family's business was a takeaway and Bakery in Birmingham, England. Where we cooked and Baked for our local community, including large functions, government events, weddings, carnivals, you name it. I have a passion for cooking my native food, there are many healthy options to choose from including vegetarian and vegan dishes.

About the lesson

I will guide you on your journey, to the secrets of Caribbean cooking. In easy to follow steps from beginners level/basic up to the more advanced level, and baking Caribbean style. Enjoy the food, that you may have never dreamed you would attempt to cook. Learn to season and cook dishes from Barbados and Jamaica. Online classes are 1-1 £30 per hr In person classes £55 1-1 or minimum 4 per class. Maximum number will depend on how many cooking hobs available in the location you are using.
