About Carlos

My name is Carlos, I am a graduate of the Tec de Monterrey School of Business Strategy and Transformation.

Almost five years ago, I began my professional experience in international companies in human resources roles, where I have had the opportunity to train more than 5,000 people throughout the United States and Latin America.

I'm well aware of the opportunities that being fluent in English opens up for you, opening the doors to opportunities in any country. I believe that with my experience, I've been able to develop my teaching skills. Therefore, I've decided to venture into this platform, to continue my mission of helping people achieve their goals.

On a more personal level, some of my strongest hobbies are reading, spending time with family, exercising regularly, and making the most of each day.

FUN FACT - How did I learn English?
Most people can point to their early bilingual education. And yes, that was the case for me. However, my case has a deeper meaning. Unfortunately, I didn't have many friends in my primary education, and I didn't have the best grades, not because I was lazy (quite the opposite), but because my way of learning is much more visual, much more practical. To answer the question: the way I learned English almost perfectly was by playing video games and interacting DAILY with people from the United States. So, school gave me the foundation to understand the logic of the language. But being fluent, sounding like a native, and expressing myself with idioms/slang naturally meant practicing the language daily, which has ultimately opened doors for me to this day.

In this sense, you would be learning from someone who had to find their own way of learning and understands what it's like to start from scratch.

Additionally, I focus a lot on perfecting your pronunciation so that you speak confidently and naturally from the start.

**My personalized method with online sessions consists of**

1. Diagnose where we stand.

2. You define the recurrence of online sessions.

3. Develop a study and practice plan that fits your pace and with which you feel comfortable.

4. Be in charge of generating the necessary material for our online sessions.

5. Prepare small exercises that truly contribute to your learning and understanding of the language, always focusing on pronunciation.

6. When you feel comfortable with the grammar and logic of the language, practice conversation.

7. Practice as long as you need to. You're in control!
