My teaching method is personalised for students. I like to see how students interpret the material and then pose questions that I think will spark their interest on the topic. I usually start with contextual information about the topic (e.g. if I was teaching logic, I would tell them about it's applications and how it can be useful and when it's most effective).
Basically am the person driven by curiosity and innovation, in my class students never get bored of studying. Because with me they just don't study they start learning and they will never realise how the time passed away. My teaching is based on logical understanding and creating new ideas. So whenever one leaves my class feels satisfied with good understanding and worth learning.
I prefer to teach in a 'blended' classroom setting. Students should do some pre-class work on the topic being taught before coming in. During class, I will clarify any doubts and answer questions about the topic content. Students will then be asked to apply their knowledge on the topic. My teaching philosophy is that students learn best by applying.
Learning is a process in life that we all choose in one way or another, let's take that process and learning experience and make it into something special. At times I will re-word or explain things again relating it to something the student is familiar with usually a workplace or hobby. I am also a Hypnotherapist, Councillor and NLP Practitioner.
My teaching method includes actively listening to students learning needs, providing individualized attention and instilling self-confidence through encouragement. I am dedicated to motivate students to participate in lessons that enhance essential life and educational skills.
First the topic is explained to the students lesson wise.
I have prepared materials on my own and sometimes I think it would be better for the students to buy books depending on the situation. I will also take a look at the syllabus and focus on their weaker areas. There would be a test every 2 weeks.
Practice makes perfect is my methodology 🙂 I will give you breaks and time to process what we just went through and I will continue to go through it with you until you fully understand and want to go onto another topic.
I have always believed in interactive learning, I like to explain the concepts using charts and flowcharts which would help the student understand the ideas or concepts clearly. I like to do my home-work so any kind of questions are welcome. I like to prepare notes and help student prepare notes of their own.
My teaching method for art is flexible. There will be different stages for drawing and colouring for children age from 5-12.
I will try to explain the basic idea behind the theory and quote practical examples for better understanding to recollect
My approach revolves around practical applications , in depth teaching, pictorial representation and I prefer interactive collaboration with students over book n papers.
I approach topics with a discussion based mindset, wanting to understand what is troubling the student about the content they are learning and gaining knowledge alongside them.
I am a motivator and facilitator. I use a hands on approach and also deliver lessons using the communicative and task based lesson approach. Students are tested periodically and provided useful feedback which then helps me to decide suitable teaching strategies to attain the objectives.
I teach by finding out what a student requires help with and helping them through it in logical, easy-to-follow steps. Good at breaking difficult concepts down into easy parts, and collaborating with student to help them learn for themselves. Ultimately depends on the kind of student, content and skills that need teaching.
I first meet the students for the very first time, then after I understand them because all the students are not the same. Further, I start with my sessions on the very same day if time permits or else in the next class. Finally, I conduct the doubt sessions and exams at the end of every course if they have any.
It’s false that all people learn the same way, some people learn visual, listening or touching. For teach Spanish I complement this 3 methods in one.
I approach topics by first comprehending the meaning of the text, then analysing and connecting this understanding to previous topics and class readings.
My teaching approach is to ensure students are on par with their classmates before working to excel them in all of their subject.
My teaching method is tailored to suit the needs of the individual student. For example, I tailor my teaching method to include more visual cues for students who learn best visually. For students who face challenges recalling information, I give them strategies to improve memory and recall.
My teaching methodology is based on the growth mindset- that the individual learner can be motivated by learning from their mistakes. Furthermore, the individual can holistically improve their academic and social life by obtaining a positive attitude and encouraging their personal motivation to succeed.
If I am teaching IELTS I use the practice books to prepare the students for their exams. With primary students I always bring my worksheets and games with me to the lesson.
The key to being a teacher is identifying the need of a learner and deliver that style to meet their needs. Moreover, communication with parents/guardians is vital for the teacher, in this way the teachers are able to guide both student and the guardian to establish a solution.
Student-need based. Bring a topic/ current work/ workbook questions and I’ll work through them alongside you. Also provide broader context.
I like to employ a wide variety of teaching methods which suit different students. Everybody learns in different ways and it's important to gear teaching towards the students needs. I'm also available to teach in person, via video link, instant message, on the phone and via email.
My teaching method is to cater to the individual needs of each student. I tend to lean towards hands on approaches. During my first lesson, I will focus on asking my student about their personal interests and areas of strength/ need. We will use this information to set growth goals. Ex: In the next 4 weeks I will be able to add within 120 by playing math board games twice a week for 1 hour.
I structure my lessons to meet the needs of each individual student. I first establish the particular needs of my students, identify their strengths and the areas in which they require extra assistance and help. I then discuss a plan of action with my students and check that this meets their needs.
I believe in personalising the lessons to the child to create interest. I build confidence and help the child understand that mistakes are part of the process to learning. In terms of subject knowledge, I teach the foundation of the subjects so the child is secure in the basics.
