My teaching methodology is Class discussion, lecture method, demonstrations , question and answer technique as well as utilize discovery method
As a respectful, knowledgeable and passionate teacher, my mission on my vocational journey is to be dedicated to the intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth of each student.
My teaching method is by approaching the student to know what they can't understand about the lesson, what they like and what they dont like, so we can give the best solution for each student.
I like to go through the theory first based on my own experience, then go through the students own assignments or questions. Lastly I like to provide take home strategies they can apply in future.
I used to approach French or tutoring with kids in a fun way like songs, games movies and conversations. I went to Madagascar for volunteering when I was 20 and we taught French by fun and easy activities, like crafting, dance...
I approach tutoring by taking my students seriously and not treating them as just kids. Lessons are tailored to the students needs and interests, and will involve a variety of mediums, both practical and intellectual, via hands-on, discussion-based, written, creative, etc, anything which will best assist them.
Hi! Currently a first year commerce / law student at USyd willing to tutor at student's homes (depending on flexibility of schedules and location) as well as online over Skype. I've taken the General SAT twice (once in the old format, once in the new), and attained a 99th percentile (99.5 ATAR equivalent).
My teaching methods vary depending on the individual student but the most important thing to support life long learning is the development of good efficient habits and the ability to adapt to new challenges. No one student is more capable than any other and all my lessons are based around that students needs. I hope to teach the student to be confident and successful as an individual.
I read thesis requirements and discuss with my student the outlines. I also check students’ progress and provide suggestions and proofreading it when it is completed.
My teaching method is simple. I allow the student to express them as they want which encourages them to cooperate during lessons. I don't make anything burdensome for students as I focus on making the topics related to the real world which makes it easier for them to understand.
I am a passionate uni student studying in the University of Sydney Neuroscience program while also undertaking an Arts minor.
My teaching methodology is focused around the idea that learning is constructed through experience, and that effective learning requires understanding. This means that the learner needs to be actively engaged in the process of making sense of information.
I undergo three steps in my teaching process. Firstly, I understand the student's given syllabus and prepare them. Secondly, I maker sure that the students gain knowledge outside the book, extra ideas and updates. I prepare them how to search and gather information to write a science assignment in a proper way and help them to know all the requirements.
Focusing key areas of the syllabus and assisting students to expand their understanding through in depth investigation of KLA topics
I believe ICT plays a huge role in educating children. Please read below about my experience and achievements in teaching with ICT. LEGO Education Innovation Studio As part of my chosen elective (Lego Education), we partook in the premiere of LEGO Education Innovation Studio workshops with children in various schools in Ireland, using LEGO as a learning tool.
My aim is to make kids feel confident and independent. For example, I encourage them to try new to do use their skills to challenge themselves, like doing difficult Maths problems with minimal guidance and using new vocabulary to play a game in a foreign language.
The way I approach teaching my students is acknowledging that everyone comes from a different walk in life, and thus not all methods will work for all students. I will typically sit down with a student and discuss their goals, then set out a clear plan with them as to how that goal may be achieved. I have found this to be highly effective.
I like working one on one with students and first focusing on concepts they are struggling with first and then improving their knowledge and skills on the concepts they are already comfortable with .
My teaching methods are that I tend to teach what the student needs to know for the exams but I like to give extra information to capture the attention of students especially by linking their concepts with real world applications.
I am a very patient, understanding and especially committed person, especially when it comes to my own, and others education. I like to learn, and therefore teach in a flexible way. Specifically (depending on the nature of the subject), working through examples, brain storming and developing concepts for a thorough understanding, working through worksheets and sample questions.
I am quite a strict person when it comes to teaching.
I base my lessons on the principal that anyone can improve their academic writing given one on one support and guidance! I can provide sessions focused around improving your marks in key assessments, homework and assignment help, and keeping up with your weekly tutorials and coursework.
My teaching method is a combination of traditional and modern versions with periodic evaluation on students. The syllabus structure is based on school curriculum.
I base my classes on the work provided as school, particularly with assessment tasks. I am able to assist in theoretical and practical sections of art and design, and am flexible in my hours. I believe in supporting learning and individual development, rather than providing all the answers.
I tailor my approach to each student and adapt my lessons to their learning style. I ask my students what they would like to focus on and plan my lessons to help achieve these goals within a measurable time frame.
Hi, my name is Kim Cheong. I'm currently studying Bachelor of Science and Education at UNSW.
I try to utilise a guided discovery teaching approach when structuring my lessons. With this approach, I am able to provide my students with basic content or information pertaining to the topic at hand, however, it is up to them to interpret and form their own understanding or conclusions. I will continually support students through this process, but the emphasis is on the student.
I aim to listen to what my student wants to achieve and I help them to set goals which we can both work towards.
I believe in teaching in the fun way. I like to deliver real time examples and teach my students practically as far as possible.
Each lesson is structured as follows: 1. Learning through content giving by school (in depth and thoroughly) 2. Practice questions (out of school textbook or provided by myself) 3. Summary of what we've learnt this lesson and how it relates to the previous lesson & what we are going to do next lesson.
