Book guitar lessons with expert teachers

Guitar beginners should start with four core areas that create a solid foundation.

• Guitar components: Identify the body along with the tuning pegs to understand how the instrument works.
• Note names: Memorise standard tuning names to read tablature.
• Left-hand form: Press strings firmly close to the fret wire using the pads near your nails.
• Strumming basics: Hold a pick between your thumb and strum across the strings with a relaxed wrist.

With solid fundamentals in place, beginners can learn songs faster.
