I like to keep my lessons lighthearted and fun. I teach by feel and work on whatever the students need on the day. In Hatha I like to teach an alignment style of yoga, focusing on breath and energy work. Yin is all about finding the spot for you and Restorative is a delicious exploration of the inner realm.
My vinyasa classes are based on the ancient Indian way of teaching, they last about an hour, and my ashtanga classes are the first serie, they last about an hour and a half, but you must be familiar with ashtanga and the first serie so I can give you the class.
When it's time for yoga, I just begin the class without taking up too much time talking! I believe the lessons learnt are felt, heard and taken in by experience through movement and breath.
My classes starts with a 5-10 minutes meditation to set a united tone at the start of the class for everyone, this helps to guide everyone to focus and connect to their own mind, bodies and personal practice. Then I give them a vinyasa flow warm up where they work with their own postures and move with their breath.
I usually like to incorporate themes or intentions before and throughout the practice, like a philosophical concept or a category of asana. Depending on the style, my classes might be dynamic and energetic, or slow, grounding and relaxing. However, the compassionate, humorous and fun factors are never missing! I love giving hands on adjustments when students feel comfortable about them.
I am passionate about traditional yogic lifestyle, with a focus on correct alignment, foundations and breathing techniques. My classes are Hatha based, varying from slow and gentle restorative based, to stronger more powerful flowing Vinyasa style. I fell in love with yoga at a young age and truly believe it can benefit everybody.
My main focus is to ensure that my students are receiving the proper directions and tools they need to strengthen and stretch their bodies. Every class is catered specifically to the needs of the students and multiple variations of asanas (poses) are provided.
My teaching method is base on student's requirement, such as helping to solve lower back pain or relax from stress. At the end of the class, I want all students to have a happy and relaxing mind and carry on their life.
My teaching method is very flexible according to the learners, and in a very comfortable and friendly manner. I also add the discussion on the respective practice outcome.
I base my classes on a different theme, body part or pose every week. I build the class around this focus and aim to leave students feeling really relaxed, energised and happy. The classes I teach are a combination of strong dynamic sequences and soft restorative poses.
As I'm currently undertaking my Yoga Teacher Training, my teaching methodology is still developing. However, my aspiration is to teach to those who are very new to yoga and I intend to teach 'beginners' style of yoga which will be the best fit for my target audience.
My teaching method is a combination of many different styles. Trained in Vinyassa flow, but combining it with Forrest and Iyengar as well as adding my own personal touch. I base my classes around the energy I feel in the room. I will plan classes if my students wish to focus on an area of the body or particular poses they wish to work on.
Yoga is connection of soul with god. I have unique way of teaching combining bhakti and bliss in yoga.
Rather than acquire a one month TTC as is the norm I have just returned to Australia after living in Mysore, India for the past two years. In this time I have studied with several Yoga masters (namely BNS Iyengar, Yogacharya Sachidananda, Yogacharya Vinay Kumar and AtmaVikasa). In have attained sufficient knowledge and experience to teach what I have learnt.
I am teaching kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. It's a perfect technology as it is and it's an honour to pass down the original teachings as intended so students can benefit from this amazing holistic yoga of awareness. I only incorporate reiki healing during the deep relaxation phase to deepen inner & outer healing of my students.
Hardwork, willingness and taking risk create a new and best path in the carrier in the future of every person.
I teach according to the person whom i am teaching, if they want a strong work out, relaxation, stretching or feel that they need a combination, that is what i tailor the class to.
I teach based upon real-life needs. I focus on mobility, range of movement and I love to add in easy movements that you can do at home or work. I am focused in on the body and the breath, bringing it back to the basics in what you feel and how you move.
In my classes I'll include a modern approach to the ancient tradition of yoga. I am able to offer flow yoga, relaxing yoga and meditation classes. I will be teaching you the physical Asana (poses) of yoga but will also include meditation, relaxation and if you're interested information about the philosophy of yoga.
