About Amiyaranjan
I grew up in a small village, where my fascination with nature sparked a lifelong passion for biology. Determined to pursue my dreams, I earned admission to NISER, one of India’s premier institutes for scientific research. There, I built a strong foundation in biology and successfully cleared national level competitive exams like NET, GATE, and TIFR, which opened doors to advanced research opportunities. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in viral structural molecular biology, using state-of-the-art cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and tomography to study viruses at the molecular level. My journey—from humble beginnings to cutting-edge research—fuels not only my dedication to science but also my deep passion for teaching. I am committed to sharing my love for biology with the next generation. I want students to experience the wonders of biology in a way that is logical, accessible, and inspiring—making it far easier for them than it was for me. By turning complex concepts into clear, engaging stories and encouraging curiosity, I hope to help others discover the excitement and possibilities that biology offers.
