About Alina

Hi, I'm Alina!

I am currently studying Medicine (MBBS) at a leading London university, where I have developed a strong foundation in Chemistry and Biology. I am passionate about education and helping students reach their potential. Through my academic journey, I have gained valuable revision techniques, study methods, and exam strategies that I enjoy sharing with my students to help them achieve their goals.

I have experience teaching a range of students, including working in primary schools and supporting SEND students. These experiences have helped me develop adaptability and an understanding of how to tailor lessons to suit your learning style.

My lessons are engaging, interactive, and personalised to each student's needs and I will create a supportive learning environment to help you succeed!

About the lesson

The lessons can be fully tailored to your individual goals and what you want to get out of them! Lessons are usually 60 minutes long and can be delivered online or in person depending on location.

With online lessons, I am able to use the whiteboard to provide much more interactive lessons, creating positive learning. As a high-achieving medical student, who has gone to an award-winning independent school, I am also able to provide key revision strategies to help gain the highest grades and work towards your goals.

I generally recommend a structured, results-driven approach to build confidence and improve exam results. Each lesson can begin with a review of key concepts, followed by step-by-step teaching of the topic with a focus on understanding rather than pure memorisation! We then move into guided practice using exam questions to develop accuracy, speed, and exam technique under timed conditions. Lessons end with a summary, reflection on progress, and targets for improvement. Each session is adapted to the student’s needs and current level.
