About Jordi
I am a postgraduate student at UCL, pursuing an MS in Management. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE). I have grown up and studied in a highly international environment (the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain and the U.K.). I have had past experience teaching both Spanish and English and have reaped many values and learned as much as I've taught.

I believe the object of any good lesson consists in providing opportunities for students to pull together various bits of information to form a new whole or basic understanding of a topic. Lectures at university are a highly commendable way to impart knowledge to and teach students, however it fails to underscore the necessity for students to actually do something with the information they receive. My classes would be structured more akin to a seminar. I will initially teach the student certain basic concepts -- such as subject-verb agreement, or verb tense consistency --, through texts and would subsequently create personalised exercises to test the student's knowledge. This constant feedback loop between teacher and student ensures maximum effective learning is achieved.
