About Florence
Having studied for many years to now having a professional career as a Chemist, I have benefited at various points from the vital support of peers, teachers and professors, and tutors. I appreciate that Chemistry is not a subject which comes easily to everyone, yet having worked through (and at points been very challenged by!) the subject to a high level, I remain deeply enthusiastic about it. I’m keen to help support students to see Chemistry not as just a subject to ‘get through’ but one in which real interest, satisfaction and enjoyment can be found. There are endless fascinating areas which a solid grounding will enable you to engage with, and I truly believe it’s a science which is very manageable when broken down and understood properly.

Having personally benefited using different learning techniques from GCSE through to Masters level, happy to explore and support different approaches, with a key focus on simplifying trouble areas, tricks to memorise and digest topics, and the exceptional benefit of past papers as a resource pathway.
