About Jack
Hi, there! My name is Jack and I am a Creative Writing Master's student at London Met University. I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature, with a focus on Anglo-Saxon literature. I have written a dissertation on Beowulf, a fiction novel, and write articles for my university magazine. I specialise in helping people develop their creative projects, improve or plan their dissertations or essays, and can edit and supply feedback on in-process work. I believe in helping students bring out their inner creativity. Every student has a unique and insightful idea that only they can bring to their writing, I enjoy helping them develop those ideas by recommending further reading, supplying them with alternate structures or ways of thinking, critiquing their work, or simply discussing their initial concepts. Often, a student can find that they already know how to improve their work, they only needed someone to talk to in order to reach their conclusion. I have a detailed knowledge of story construction, both for novels and scripts, and can help plan essays and dissertations. Most students know best how they learn, so my methodology can be flexible- just tell me what you need!
