About Kimberly
I am a junior at UTSA, a math major, and in the UTeach program. I have a true love for math and teaching. I went back to college after 12 years of being out, which has given me a much better perspective and work ethic. It has also given me real world experiences and a sense of patience with students.

My teaching method is that of constructivism and helping the student make the connections on their own. By creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking any question. Encouraging them to follow their intuition and logic. Math is a subject that everyone sees differently, so by preparing many different examples, visuals, explanations, and problems, I can cater to how each student already sees math and help facilitate further connections.
