About Jacob
I previously lived in Texas where I taught Algebra 1 for 3 years developing curriculum that suited my students. Students from previous years would visit with other subjects to receive help. Prior to teaching, I volunteered at the math tutoring department at my university, helping my fellow classmates and other students understand different levels of math.

I teach by having a conversation with my pupils. I present general and specific ideas for the topic but always adjust my teaching according to what my student needs. I learn different ways to same the same thing and present ideas with a concrete connection to assist in memorization.
