About Caroline
I am currently a business analyst, in the process of becoming a Math 6-12 teacher. My degree is in Applied Mathematics and I have some experience tutoring students in higher level math (HS and college) - Algebra, Trig, Calc I-III, Geometry, Linear Algebra, etc.. Math has been my strong suit and passion throughout my education, and I really enjoy being able to help others succeed in the subject.

My teaching method is walking through examples, explaining step-by-step, and engaging my student by asking them questions along the way. Once I've walked through an example or two myself, I will turn it over to the student and guide them as needed until they become independent on solving the problems. Tutor-student interaction is very important, as I believe students learn better "doing" than just "listening".
