About Mariana
have over seven years of experience tutoring mathematics. This includes elementary, middle, high school, and college math courses including but not limited to calculus, pre-calculus, trigonometry, college algebra, algebra I & II, pre-algebra, probability, and geometry. I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary students struggling with a class, or simply looking to improve their grades, to adult learners returning to school needing a refresher course.
Want to get ahead in a class before it starts? We can work extensively over the summer / winter with customized lesson plans.
If you have an ACT/SAT test coming up, I can help you prepare for it. They are not so intimidating with enough training and practice.

Every student has different learning needs and goals they wish to acomplish. I approach every student differently depending on their learning styles and needs. I approach homework problems by being student driven, asking leading questions to let the student drive and learn, and demonstrate by example if needed, allowing the student to always try on his/her own.
