About Christopher

I am a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Mathematics - Computer Science. I have worked two years as a Tutor/Supplemental Instruction leader at the university I attended, assisting a multitude of students in varying levels of mathematics and chemistry. My students often find that my sessions are more helpful to them than the discussion sessions assigned to them by their professors, and my students have gone on to become tutors themselves.

About the lesson

I embrace and uphold the principle that each student is precisely where they should be on their academic path, fostering a supportive and patient tutoring environment that acknowledges no one is falling behind.

I typically employ scaffolding techniques to guide students toward solving more complex problems by themselves, rather than providing them with the answers directly.

I can teach the core fundamentals of mathematics, including algebra, pre-calculus, up until college level calculus.
