About Diana
I am currently a mathematics professor teaching remedial mathematics, college algebra, math for the liberal arts and quantitative business analysis. I have 12 years experience teaching at the local university. I have a bachelor's in civil engineering and master’s in mathematics.

My teaching approach is to lecture 20-30 minutes on material by including various worked out examples along with definitions and terms. I believe it is very important to learn the language of mathematics. During this lecture time I like to do an example and then have students work an example on their own. After lecture I like to provide a worksheet with problems that students may work on individually or as a group while I walk the room and check on their progress. The worksheet may or may not be collected. If not collected, students will take turns putting the answers up on the board.
