About Mikyla
I am a mechanical engineering student at Mississippi State University with 4 years of tutoring experience. I previously taught math to various ages at a Mathnasium in my hometown during my senior year of high school. I've spent the past year tutoring a 5th grader and other mathematics students. I also scored a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam.

My teaching method is predominantly via whiteboard and slide shows. I like to teach through live writing on the whiteboard and prepare curriculum on slide shows or students to use afterwards as well. I like to give students a chance to attempt on their own. Afterwards, I would correct and teach to ensure they understand the principles to repeat with a similar problem.
