About Casey
I am currently a senior studying Mechanical Engineering at Binghamton University with experience in college level Calculus II and III, Ordinary Differential Equations and some Linear Algebra/Discrete Methods, as well as Physics and some Chemistry. I will also help with middle and high school math including Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus I, as well as Chemistry and Physics. I have tutored classmates and underclassmen at a college level, and I am familiar with teaching grade school students. I can drive to you, or we can meet somewhere of your choosing. I believe that math is all around us in the natural world, so I love to make and draw connections from a student's life experience to help them understand why math can be important and entertaining! I build a foundation from students' current or previous method of learning (school, online, etc.) and structure lessons so that students arrive at answers and conclusions themselves. I can adapt to a student's needs, and I offer a more liberating learning experience outside of the classroom.
