About Daniel
As a fourth-year medical student at UCL what has specialised in Clinical Neurology and Brain Sciences, I’ve experienced firsthand how overwhelming studying can be when you don’t have the right guidance. I know what it feels like to dig through endless resources, doubt your progress, and try to stay motivated without a clear structure. Those challenges shaped me, and they’re the reason I teach.
Today, I tutor with one goal: to give students the kind of support I never had.
I break complex ideas down with clarity, teach evidence-based study methods rooted in neuroscience, and build systems that make students genuinely self-sufficient. My background, from research at Queen Square to military leadership training with the ULOTC, allows me to combine academic expertise with consistency, discipline, and a human approach that helps students thrive.
I don’t just help students get good grades.
I help them understand how to learn, how to stay motivated, and how to build habits that last far beyond the classroom. The aim is simple: to make sure every student I work with feels confident, capable, and in control of their education.
If you’re looking for a tutor who understands the journey, who has walked the hard path, and who knows exactly how to help you excel, I’m here to make that difference.

Are you or your child looking for a dedicated and experienced tutor to excel in academics? Look no further. I'm a tutor who has not only successfully navigated through GCSEs and A-levels under the latest syllabus but also achieved top grades. I specialise in customising my teaching methods to ensure that my students not only understand the material but also excel in their exams (achieving high grades is more attainable than you might think). With several years of experience teaching and having completed numerous teaching courses, I have honed my ability to connect with students and empower them to take charge of their own learning—a skill that I've acquired over time. My approach begins with establishing a baseline of knowledge in the subject by covering a wide range of topics. I then focus on areas that need improvement, all while recognising the unique learning styles of my students. Next, we delve into the content, applying knowledge across a spectrum of questions. Regular, candid feedback, combined with a focus on effective exam techniques, has consistently led my students to achieve top grades. I also incorporate captivating real-world applications of the knowledge, hoping to ignite a passion for independent study—an invaluable life skill. My one-hour lessons cater to students from 11+ all the way up to GCSEs and A-levels (specialising in Biology and English Literature). Moreover, I excel at crafting compelling personal statements and can provide specialised training for the BMAT and UCAT—essential exams for those aspiring to study Medicine and Dentistry at university.

Daniel has an amazing attention to detail. He tutored me for my BMAT exams, and his experience in this area was both extensive and insightful. We spent a lot of time on the tricky section 3 essay questions, where he showed his wealth of knowledge on multiple question topics and allowed me to garner the confidence I needed to feel good about my essay answer in the exam.
As well as being a superb educator, he is also an extremely amiable person, rich in thoughtfulness and went out of his way to accommodate my timetable as much as he could, despite his own busy schedule. We also had good talks about related topics, about university in the UK, about social life in his university, all things that set my mind at ease and made me very comfortable about the BMAT process. I never felt alone through what is, admittedly, quite an arduous process.
While my exam is done, I have high hopes of getting interviews from the courses I chose. I look forward then to Daniel's help once again, to help me hone my interview skills.
I feel very fortunate to have met with Daniel; he has been inspirational and to me and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for help with their studies.Daniel helped me with gcse tutoring, and was an immense amount of help. He was an extremely good tutor. He made sure I was always following along, exhibited lots of patience when I needed things repeated or explained in an alternative way. His methods of teaching were very effective and I felt that I learnt more and quicker than at school. Not only was Daniel a good tutor, he was also very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend him!
I came to Dan when I was going through one of the roughest times of my life, my mum had stage 3 cancer. A broken, shattered kid who just wanted his mother healed wanted external comfort, just an “it will be alright” when times were tough. Not many people knew but Dan did. He knew my grades in my year 11 mocks in November, I failed most classes and scraped a pass in some. I was embarrassed to tell someone as academically outstanding like him my grades, but when I told him, he said “let’s get to work Radin”. So we did, non stop grafting together on zoom calls, always checking my mindset, on my family, and in my March mocks just a few months after failing most subjects I got 9s, 8s and only one 7, just a few months after working with him. He changed everything and turned everything around for me. I owe so much Dan and highly recommend if you are looking for a tutor he is by far the best I know or ever have had and I hope to work together with him during A-levels as I know with him, I’m set. Thank you big bro️
