About Erdem
I am a METU graduate engineer, when I was in high school I gave private lessons to my friends. I did professional translations in university (I hold a C1 degree of English proficiency), I gave private lessons to students from various engineering majors. Now I am studying Project Management with the help of the method of distance learning. Next year I will continue my education in the United Kingdom. Currently, however, because of the pandemic I stay in my hometown, Eskişehir. I would like to share my time and knowledge with students by giving them lectures, no matter online or face to face.

My method is different for English and other branches. In English education, I especially pay attention not to speak Turkish. Because, instead of using Turkish synonyms, learning from English to English through description and portraiture will transfer the words into memory more clearly. Tenses also inscribe to students' minds more correctly. In English education, it is important to be familiar with the language at all the time. Language is learned by hearing and engagement. It would be much more beneficial to use English and explain everything through the language rather than using Turkish and simply saying "this is the way".
I have the ability to give examples for other branches (mathematics, physics, etc.) from life, and I use it as much as possible. Because the biggest question in the mind of a student and the excuse for not listening is "where will we use this thing?". To confer the situation, I research the subject, find various application areas of the subject, and gather the attention of the young friend. I give examples from the areas of use and, needless to say, I succeed in attracting the attention of them.
