Hi, I'm Amanda, a current high school junior who loves social studies and would love to share my knowledge! I enjoy teaching people the tricks I used to get A's in my social studies classes, and how I made it enjoyable to learn the topics. I usually tutor in a way that makes students passionate and confident about the subjects they are learning. As a high school junior, I have found that many students do not perform their best if they are simply memorizing information to get a good grade. I connect my lessons to real-world applications to show how important these skills are, while still helping them succeed in their required coursework. I teach the skills that helped me with my social studies classes, as well as skills that will work best for the individual. My goal is to make students confident in their knowledge and their classes, which will help them achieve their desired grades. I am able to teach social studies classes up to 10th grade.
