About Jayne
I first taught whilst studying for my Ph.D. and have never looked back. I have taught in HE, College, and 6th-form institutions, and ended up managing a large and successful department in a College. This took me away from the classroom though, and so I left that job ten years ago to travel round Britain on a canal boat, teaching online as I travelled. I now live by the sea in the north west of England, and continue to work with students all over the world.

As an online tutor supporting students who need guidance and advice with all aspects of their work, I will help you achieve your potential in your studies. I provide a friendly and supportive teaching environment driven by my desire to enable all my students to achieve. Many students I have worked with in the last decade have far exceeded their target grades whilst working with me. As an examiner too, I understand what exam questions are really asking for, which can be invaluable information to help you make the most of the exam experience. Although I have a wealth of information, experience, and advice to share with you, my rates are lower than most tutors as I value making tutoring available to as many people as possible.

Details
The rate is per hour of time spent working with the student online, for example a 1-hour Google Meets session. My cancellation policy is 50% of the full scheduled session rate if the session is missed or if it is cancelled with less than 24-hours notice.
