About Noah

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and hold a BSc in Chemistry. My main interest lies in quantum chemistry, and I enjoy making its challenging concepts clear and engaging for learners. Many students find the subject abstract, but with the right approach, it can become both fascinating and manageable. I focus on helping students understand atomic and molecular orbitals, bonding theories, and spectroscopic transitions. These areas are taught with a mix of illustrative models and theoretical derivations so learners can see both the concepts and the logic behind them. By blending visualization with step-by-step explanation, I make abstract ideas feel more concrete. I have experience working with both chemistry majors and physical science students at the university level. Some learners come to me with strong mathematical skills, while others need more careful guidance, and I adapt my methods to both. My aim is to show how quantum principles connect to real chemical properties and experimental results. I use a balance of problem-solving, clear derivations, and conceptual discussion to help students grasp the fundamentals deeply. With patience and structure, I encourage learners to engage actively and build their own confidence in approaching the subject. If you are ready to master quantum chemistry and understand the electronic basis of chemical properties, I would be glad to guide you on that journey.

My teaching methodology in Chemistry is systematic and clear, designed to simplify even the most complex concepts. I focus on breaking down large ideas into smaller, understandable parts that students can easily follow. This helps learners gradually build confidence while mastering the subject.

Along with general Chemistry, I place strong emphasis on organic chemistry. Topics such as nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and isomerism are taught step by step, with plenty of practice and explanation. By making connections between structures and their applications, I help students see how theory links to real-world chemistry.

I believe consistent feedback is essential for growth. That’s why I guide students patiently, highlighting their strengths while providing clear strategies to improve weaker areas. Learners never feel left behind, and progress becomes steady and motivating.

I work especially well with those who are curious about environmental systems and marine science, as these fields often connect deeply with chemistry. Both practical thinkers and detail-oriented learners find their approach supported in my sessions.

Ultimately, my goal is to help students build a strong foundation for organic synthesis and beyond. With structure, clarity, and encouragement, I ensure that learners not only prepare for exams but also develop a deeper appreciation for the world of carbon compounds.
