About Vela
I am a passionate Physics tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Theoretical Physics. I enjoy making complex ideas simple and engaging for my students. My special interest lies in acoustics and the physics of music. I use audio experiments and wave visualisations to help students see and hear how sound truly works.
I love teaching about sound production, resonance, frequency, and harmonics. Musical scales and instrument design are some of my favourite topics to explore in class. I connect physics formulae to real musical experiences so learning feels meaningful. Students discover how vibrations turn into beautiful melodies.
I believe physics is not only about equations but also about creativity and art. My lessons blend scientific theory with the emotional power of music. This approach helps students understand concepts more deeply and remember them longer. I guide learners step by step with patience and clarity. My teaching approach in Physics is nurturing, supportive, and fully personalised to each student’s needs. I teach school and university Physics with a strong focus on clear concepts and practical understanding. Along with core topics like mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, and nuclear physics, I also include computational physics in my lessons. Students learn computer modelling in physics to see how theories work in real situations.
I introduce data visualisation so they can understand results through graphs and simulations. I guide them in numerical methods to solve complex physical problems step by step. I also teach scientific programming basics using simple coding techniques. These skills help students explore physics beyond textbooks.
With experience as a research assistant and strong interest in nuclear science, I connect theory with real research ideas. Simulations are used to build deeper understanding and confidence. Students are encouraged to experiment, question, and discover solutions on their own. Continuous support is provided to help them excel in exams, assignments, and advanced projects. Together, we celebrate progress and grow stronger in both physics knowledge and computational skills.
