About Biba
Hello, my name is Biba and I'm currently studying a Science Degree at Monash University, majoring in Data Analytics, I've always been interested in art and have been building a multi-medium art profile for 15 years. I'm confident in my approach with many mediums, ranging from oil paintings, acrylic painting, oil pastel, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, watercolor, gouache, procreate, etc. I accommodate for each individual student learning style, with no expectations of past experience, tailored to each student's goals and learning intentions. :)

I am a mixed-media artist and tutor with over a decade of classical training from Melbourne School of Art and a 15-year portfolio spanning traditional and digital techniques. My teaching approach is rooted in patience and adaptability, I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s learning style, goals, and pace, whether they’re picking up a brush for the first time or refining advanced technical skills.
My methodology blends structured fundamentals (composition, color theory, mark-making, and material exploration) with open-ended creative development, helping students build both technical confidence and their own artistic voice. I bring a wide technical range across oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, graphite, and Prismacolor/colored pencil, and my work has been featured in art exhibitions.
My lessons are designed for students aged 5–16, run in one to two hour sessions, and are structured to meet each young artist at their current skill level while building a strong technical and creative foundation for the future.
