About Ivontae

I am a Detroit-based singer-songwriter and producer. I mostly utilize digital technology to create musical compositions and recordings. As a classically trained singer, I have performed in many different situations on many different stages. I have nearly a decade worth of teaching experience.

In college, I studied songwriting and music business and have used those lessons to steer my work today.

My superpower as a teacher is the ability to explain anything no matter how complex to anyone no matter their skill level.

I can't wait to meet you and help you grow as a musician

About the lesson

My lessons are for all who are interested in learning more about music and creating. Our lessons will start with tangible goals and every session we have will work towards them. What sets me apart from other tutors is my willingness to dive into my student's creativity and unique voices whether in production or in singing.

Here are few things we can focus on

- Music Theory
- Understanding of a DAW (ex. Cubase or Garageband)
- Computer Music Composition or Beat Making
- Songwriting and Techniques
- Home Recording Techniques
- Beginner Home Mixing Techniques
- Vocal performance
- Vocal Performance techniques
