Hunter was my TA in a lecture course on globalization in fall 2021. I observed him teach his discussion section and was very impressed by how experienced, organized, and well prepared he was. The lesson plan was clear, and he moved the discussion rather smoothly, getting almost all 17 students involved. They clearly felt at ease, thanks to his deft handling of the classroom dynamic. I also met with Hunter and other TAs on a weekly basis to discuss their classes, and his insights were both excellent and helpful to the other TA, who has been in the program longer than Hunter.
