Need help with history or social studies? I'm the one to come to! I have a Bachelor of Arts in History. I just got my Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in history.

Nicole Is my sister. When my son was in high school he hated history. He always complained that it was too difficult to remember the material. Knowing she is a substitute and knew she had a BA in history, I reached out. She helped him understand what the United Nations is and what they do. She asked him questions such as, "Do you know what the United Nation is?" and "Do you know what they do?", in order to get an idea of where to start. She explained things in short, yet in depth detail. I did not want him to totally rely on her. She gave him websites to also study. He came home from school telling me that he had gotten a B+ on his UN quiz. I always appreciate her when in comes to my kids and school work. I am a very busy mom of five kids that has little time to help.

During COVID Nicole was able to help my son to work on his social studies homework. After my husband and I could not. He was in 4th grade at this time We reached out to her knowing her college education major. We thought being his aunt and substitute could get to fucus more. There were less distractions with her. She was able to get his school work/homework finished. When I came to pick him up later that day, she had told me that as they went along she gave fun facts about President Jackson. Wh. We appreciate her help. Wen his dad came home he said, "Dad did you know..." We worked with here via Zoom over the school year and he became more interested in social studies. His grade went from very un-satisfactory to very satisfactory
