About Felipe
I am an English teacher graduated with honors from the Autonomous University of Temuco. I have had experience with the methodology of online classes in my professional practic, and have covered the teaching of students from preschool to high school. In addition, I have developed my teaching skills with lower-level university students (freshmen) in order to study the effectiveness of music in the learning process of English as a second language. As a third record for my language skills, I lived for an approximate period of four months in South Lake Tahoe, United States, to perfect my skills and fluency in the language, which has allowed me to develop a high level of communication in English.

My online teaching methods are based on the method of Thinking Based Learning and Competency Based Learning. Under these methods, the student's strongest ability is identified, and it is worked with to understand the language and develop competencies with a lower level of development in the foreign language. Regarding the realization of the sessions, I use videos, music, images, among other audiovisual materials, to encourage students to understand the information taught. In the development of the activities and tasks of the class, I develop the role of a guide, allowing the student to learn through discovering the information, but at the same time paying attention to the needs and queries that may arise to guide them to the achievement of the objectives of the classes.
