Before starting, I always ask the kids what are the difficulties that hinder them and what are the goals they want to achieve. So let's organize a plan together and get to work. My methodology first involves an initial brain storming to understand if the student is already aware of the topic we are about to discuss, what he thinks he has understood during the lessons at school, in short, I am going to probe the ground a little. Then I ask you to read the texts and summarize them orally together with me to take stock of the situation and see if the salient points have been captured. At this point, I like to make use of concept maps that contain in a few words all there is to say about the topic. So, I ask to repeat to test the learning. If, on the other hand, we are dealing with subjects such as grammar or mathematics, I prefer to use schemes or do many exercises step by step to ensure that the children are able to memorize and fully understand the various mechanisms.
